Google advancing into virtual reality, messaging and payment services

Google is making more moves into the virtual reality and messaging apps as the organization discovered new items and redesigns at it's Google I/O conference in Mountain View, California.

Google Home

To enrich the user experience, Google will launch its Home speaker later in this year. This will give control of the connected devices in the home and also user can voice control their speaker. The entire function is performed solely with the voice commands, hence, buttons are not available. Google Assistance

Google Allo

Allo is a new messaging app from Google that includes several new features which keep it apart from its top rival like the Facebook messaging app. Loaded with exciting features, this app features a whisper/shout feature which basically control the font size of the text message using the slider. If user feels to capitalize all letters or shrink their text size, then this can be performed using the slider.

Smart replies is another cool feature where the responses to the conversations or an image are scanned to reduce extra typing work. The video quality will be managed automatically according to the bandwidth strength. This app is available for both Android and iOS.

Google Android N

Now a major update will be released later this year is an Android N mobile software. An enormously important feature included in this major improvement is performance and graphics. This ensures the smooth running of the device. The Vulcan software is used for performance improvement for graphics, whereas software is optimized to boost the performance.

A smart feature available by Android will be auto removal of the apps from the UI if they are no longer needed. So, if a user is looking for any app then they can easily find it on the screen. A Quick search filter is available to search an app quickly. Android N improves its security by implementing block-based encryption. Also, the user will get the updates automatically download and installed.

Android N will support spilt screen apps feature for phones and tablets where the picture in picture facility is available only for Android TV. User can directly reply to the notification from the direct reply feature. It will also support Unicode 9 emoji and support all skin tones. The beta version of the Android N is already pushed out, however, the Android N will be released later this summer.

Android Wear 2.0

A big release by Google is the Android Wear 2.0 that can work independently without a smartphone. This means a user will get the details without ever require to connect their app with the smartphone. The data will be updated as long as the smartphone is connected to the internet either by Wi-Fi or Cellular.

Google Daydream

An all new Virtual Reality platform is available known as Google Daydream. This VR based platform is designed to standardize the mobile-based experience. Google plans to create a reference design for controller and VR headset.
