As we all know, Android N still doesn’t have a name but seeing the past names, some intuitions do tell us that, “ N” will stand for some sort of sweet eateries right?
Recently, in the latest developer preview version of Android N, the name scheme took a new U turn. Android Authority reported that, if you tap on version option of Android N –located on settings, you will notice an “N” as a big letter with the name Namey McNameface.
This name was used with the reference from the past Boaty McBoatface name. This name was chosen for the British by the public #200 million research vessel in April. But at the end ship was named as Sir David Attenborough. That ship became very much popular as it operated undersea vehicle.
But do you really believe, Google would name its next version as “Namey Mcnameface”? Google is in too much love with the sweet treats, so still the perfect name is not yet knows.
The next Android N is expected to arrive in august or September, bringing the split screen mode, seamless OTA updates, new emoji’s, data saving mode and much more. You can download the latest version preview from the website.
