Microsoft delivers preview of OneDrive - SharePoint Online Sync

Recently, at the ignite conference in Atlanta, Microsoft provided an update for delivering the number of SharePoint and OneDrive which features. Through this preview, users will be able to sync SharePoint online document libraries and OneDrive folders shared with others. The New activity center is integrated with One Drive sync client that enables the user to view sync and file activity at a glance which is previewed recently.

New sync functionality includes:-

• Sync SharePoint Online Document libraries and OneDrive folders
• “Activity center” is integrated into OneDrive sync client which enables the synchronization and the file activity for the precise view during the preview 

New browser capabilities includes:-

• Rich thumbnails and preview for over 20 new file types
• Edit and Access all the documents in OneDrive and SharePoint online from OneDrive browser client
• One can download multiple .zip files.

New mobile capabilities include:-

• Notifications to your iOS or Android device when someone shares OneDrive files with you
• Access to the SharePoint Online Files in OneDrive app or Android
• Multi-page scan enhancement for OneDrive app on Android
• Ability to see insight in OneDrive for iOS

New IT capabilities include:

• Enhancement to integration with Office 2016
• Simple, Flexible OneDrive user management in Office 365
• Dedicated OneDrive administration console in Office 365

Microsoft SharePoint App is coming to hit competitors in this mobile era

Microsoft is planning to use the placeholders to allow users to easily sync cloud content with the service, thereby save their drive space.
